Her video for American Oxygen is in the video with a social message category competing against artist such as Jennifer Hudson and Big Sean. Beyoncé is nominated in 5 categories and Taylor Swift is nominated in 9 Nicki Minaj who has 3 nominations seemed confused about the absence of her track with Beyoncé 'feeling myself'. Her tweets that followed were seemingly miss construed by Taylor Swift who said "I've done nothing but love & support you" to which Nicki replied " I love you just as much".
